Instincts
Since my last post, my encounters through the week spoke to me through varied events. The very next day, during the regular grocery run and at the checkout counter, staring right back at me was Oprah’s August edition titled in big pink letters “Let Your Intuition Be Your Guide”! The magazine was not on the shopping list, but of course it made it through the checkout and into my reading pile.
Then to follow, here is one of my daily horoscope readings (courtesy of http://glo.msn.com/horoscopes):
“It’s important to take action on a day like this. Trust yourself and your instincts. Often you have the perfect counsel for everyone but you. Keep in mind that you might have to turn to others for the best advice for you. Talk things out and then take action. Hesitation will only have negative consequences. You have all the facts you need.”
And a dear friend shared an email newsletter that started out with the following:

What’s Your Inner Voice Trying to Tell You?
- She’s got a feeling: 15 things a professional intuitive wants you to know
- What Oprah knows for sure about trusting her intuition
- Are you drowning out your inner voice? Martha Beck on how to start listening
These events, utterly uncanny and timely, but are clearly playing a part in my destiny and motivating me to uncover how my whole world will unfold. And although I haven’t had the ah ha moment at the time of this posting, I am paying close attention to what my inner voice and/or instincts are trying to tell me.
One thing I do know, when we search for answers, yearn for direction in life or ultimately seek the dream, we tend to swerve away from doing what is right because it may not lead to our expectation. But if we pause, listen silently and follow the intrinsic feeling inside then there will be certainty in moving straight ahead!
